Duals Individuals and MAsters
OK, again I am a little behind. Yes we won the duals, very convincingly for a rebuilding year. Then at CIF Individuals we placed second to Temecula Valley, however we will return all but 3 placers next year. Now I ready to turn in to get ready for Masters in the morning, and I can think of only a couple things. Tomorrow is tough, but Saturday is tougher. Watching kids go home never gets easy. I look forward to next year and the kids we have coming in, and returning. But, the task tomorrow is to get to state, and that is the focus until Sunday. TO all the parents who helped, although I think only one reads this, THANK YOU . Your service to the program is invaluable, and only make my job easier. Hopefully my next post will have great news about kids going to state.

I want to thank you personally for all your hard work this year. I know how busy you have been with the wrestling kids and with your own family. I have no idea how you manage to do all that you do. I just hope that you don't get an extreme case of the burn outs!
I think we had an exceptional year with all things considered and what was accomplished. When the season started my sons dream and goals as a team team were to win league and repeat our duals championship and have us place in CIF. Mission accomplished. His individual goal was to try and place in CIF and to make it to masters as a sophmore. Mission accomplished. It would have been great to make state but he's just not quite there yet. That's his individual goal for next year.
Considering all that was accomplished by such a young team, I really can't wait to see what we do next year with all the experience the kids gained this year. It could be awesome!
Thanks again for all your hard work and support. You have been a great influence to my son and to his confidence.

I often read your blog to see what is happening at my old alma mater.
I really think your last team was one of the finest in the rich winning tradition of SHHS wrestling with so many league champions, and sectional and Masters qualifiers. Sending 3 to the state meet was awesome to see.
It looks like next years team will be better. Could you post info on who will be back?
Keep up the good work. You and your team should be proud of their accomplishments.

You have done some great things this past year.Taking 3 different kids to state this year is quite a feat. the SHHS wrestling is now THE TEAM of the future. Your 3 state qualifiers have weather a storm more difficult than even they understand but will in years to come. Best of luck to the magical 3.
